Out-Conserving the NeoCons Back in '78 when gas prices hit the ceiling, the ingenuity of True Blue Americans started a revolution promoting alternative energy that scared hell out of the oil industry. When they rigged election of Ronnie Ray-Guns, his first order was to remove solar panels Jimmy Carter had installed up on the White House roof. Only energy that could profit Ronnie's political supporters would be promoted in His America. They dropped gas prices to kill the movement. Just think of what our world would be like if a dollar tax had been added per gallon to promote renewable energy: solar energy everywhere, alternative energy autos, bankrupted corrupt oil corporations, no oil wars in the Mideast, no rape of the environment for profit, and no more oil men selected to our Presidency. Talk about missed opportunities! Today, Gulf Oil War II provides the diversion to permanently raise gas above $2/gal. It's not enough for GwB's political supporters to make billions from tax dollars rebuilding what GwB used billions of tax dollars to obliterate in Iraq. Oil men Bush & Cheney now make it possible to levy a PRIVATE gas tax upon every sucker. We could have paid it to OUR benefit in '78. Now we pay it involuntarily for their benefit. Rummy and the Chicken Hawks running GwB promised that Iraqi Oil would pay the cost of their little bitty war. Three years later, GwB's corporate sponsors are still raking in US tax funds hand over fist to pay for the fallout from that same war. What GwB used tax funds to obliterate, GwB spends tax funds to rebuild. It's why he allows no other industrial countries to participate and profit from Gulf Oil War II. Iraqi schools are rebuilt, while our schools rot. It's GwB's "leave no Iraqi profit center behind" policy. Just think what the $450 billion that this war costs us could do for OUR schools, for our health care, or even the national debt. Most of that money is securely in the pockets of GwB's wealthy Red political supporters. So what can YOU do that guarantees to help bring GwB's controlling Oil Barons in America to their knees? Simple. Whenever they hold prices above $2 to rip you off, buy only half the gas you did before they jacked the prices. Quickly you'll learn that "conserving" is the one thing Conservatives refuse to do. CONservative = CONman (as in con-game). CONservatives are always SuperRed. It's Conservationists who are TrueBlue.
