The Five Chapter Story I have used the 5 Chapter Story for years as a tool to measure my progress through challenging situations and also to share with my clients to help them ascertain what "chapter" they are experiencing when they feel stuck. I share it here with you. It's really an amazing tool and invite you to use it to identify and move through any patterns that don't serve you.
Curiously, I find myself often trying to go from Chapter 3 in a situation right to Chapter 5, thereby skipping Chapter 4 completely. I guess Chapter 4 for me is the most difficult (those situations where I've "been there, done that" and just want to avoid it again). I have come to realize, however, that to actually heal a pattern in our lives, it is important that we experience ALL FIVE chapters. Chapter 4 is the most healing chapter. It's the one where you can SEE the pattern and consciously CHOOSE to walk around it. Then Chapter 5 is a true release!
